Kihei Caffe is one of Maui’s most popular breakfast spots, known for its huge portions, casual island vibe, and delicious, flavorful dishes. Originally famous for its flagship location on South Kihei Road, near Kalama Beach Park, the café now has a second Kihei location further down South Kihei Road, making it even easier to grab a tasty meal while exploring the area. They’ve also expanded to Lahaina, with a location at the Lahaina Gateway Center at the end of the bypass. No matter which spot you visit, you’ll find the same hearty breakfasts that have made Kihei Caffe a local favorite. The menu is packed with classics like fluffy pancakes, French toast, and omelets, as well as local specialties such as Loco Moco, Kalua Pork Hash, and their famous fried rice topped with eggs.

I have to admit that Kihei Caffe is not one of my favorite restaurants. On the other hand, they have a HUGE fan base that loves them and is willing to wait in line to order. So, that is why they are on here.

Kihei Caffe is loved for its friendly, laid-back atmosphere and affordable prices, making it perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a satisfying meal. It’s a counter-service restaurant, so you order at the register and pick a table, often outdoors, where you can enjoy the Maui sunshine. While the original Kihei location can get busy in the mornings, the line moves quickly, and the portions are well worth the wait. The Lahaina location offers the same menu with a new setting, making it a great spot to stop after exploring West Maui. Whether you’re visiting one of the Kihei spots or the Lahaina café, Kihei Caffe is a must-try for anyone craving a hearty, flavorful breakfast in paradise!
